Yeast Genetics and Molecular Biology

March 08, 2011

If you have not already registered for the upcoming 25th International Conference on Yeast Genetics and Molecular Biology, being held July 11th – 16th 2011 in Olsztyn-Kortowo, Poland, we would like to remind and encourage you to do so at this time. It’s a major event for investigators studying eukaryotic biology in yeast and will be held in the scenic Great Masurian Lakes region of northern Poland.

Registration fees have been intentionally kept at a minimum to maximize the number of students and post-doctoral fellows who are able to join us and experience the excitement and scientific benefits of attending an international meeting.

The deadline for Early Bird Registration with its substantial savings has been extended till March 31. Therefore, if you haven’t already done so, we encourage you to register now. Details of the meeting venue, its program and speakers as well as the abstract submission and meeting registration sites are located at
http://www.yeast-2011.org.

In addition to the exciting scientific program we are offering attractive half-a-day sightseeing tours. Their cost will be in a range of 40-50 euro. There will be also a full day trip for accompanying persons (details will be available soon on the Conference web site).

We would also like to ask you to post the attached poster to inform other members of your institution about this exciting opportunity or use the Powerpoint slide to announce the Conference at other scientific meetings you may be attending.

Finally, you may want to consider extending your stay to enjoy the Great Masurian Lakes area, regarded as one of the most beautiful places in Europe. Masuria is among the finalists of the competition attempting to create a list of 7 natural wonders (http://mazurycudnatury.org). Warsaw and Gdansk are also nearby destinations of beauty and historical interest.
